🛠 How to Use

  1. Download and install the plugin via Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
  2. Activate the plugin.
  3. Navigate to Settings > MailWizz Export.
  4. Enter your MailWizz API URL, API Key, and default List UID.
  5. Select which WordPress user roles you want to export by default.
  6. Set your preferred batch size (default is 100).

📤 Exporting Users

When you go to the Export Users screen:

  • You can temporarily override the List UID and Batch Size for that session only.
  • Choose the user role to export (e.g., Subscriber, Customer, etc.).
  • Adjust batch size depending on your server’s performance.
  • Click Export Users to begin.

🟩 A progress bar and export counter will appear during the process.
⚠️ Do not leave the page until the export completes — exiting will stop the process.
You can return later and re-run the export with the same settings — it will continue without creating duplicate entries.

🔐 How to Get Your MailWizz API Key & List UID

Create a List in MailWizz

  1. Log in to your MailWizz account at WebEmail2U.com.
  2. Go to Lists > Create New.
  3. Fill in your list name, company info, and other required fields.
  4. Once created, click your list name to open details.
  5. Find your List UID in the URL — e.g., lists/abc123xyz → UID = abc123xyz.

Generate an API Key

  1. In MailWizz, go to API Keys in your account dashboard.
  2. Click Create New Key.
  3. Name it (e.g., “WordPress Sync”).
  4. Copy the Public API Key for use in the plugin settings.

📬 Single vs Double Opt-In Tips

MailWizz supports two types of subscription confirmation:

  • Single Opt-In:
    • Adds users directly without sending an email.
    • Best for silent syncing when consent is already obtained.
  • Double Opt-In:
    • Sends a confirmation email before the subscriber is added.
    • Ideal for list cleanup and better email quality.

💡 Tip:
If you want MailWizz to send out a confirmation email, make sure the list is set to Double Opt-In.
Use Single Opt-In for quick, behind-the-scenes syncing.
